Here's my plan in a nutshell. I will stop taking extra calls, weekends, and locums to keep my family under $250,000 per year. That's simple. And you better believe, that if I'll do it this way, millions of other intelligent, hard working people, who actually contribute something to the economy, will do it. Joe Biden and other politicians have to understand that screwing people who achieved something in life, who worked hard, who are the foundation of this economy, is just plain wrong. It is not patriotic!
(please note how freely Joe Biden says "we want to take money") cont...
If Mr. Biden thinks otherwise, we'll see what kind of economy inspires burger flippers.
Speaking of our current Commander-In-Chief and his economic team, they just decided to screw me and the other 60% of people who pay federal income taxes, by introducing a $700bn price tag for Fannie, Freddie, AIG and others. Instead of allowing the chips to fall where they may, they decided to penalize those who work. That's right: we live in a society that penalizes those who work. (And by work, I don't mean community organizing.) I think it would be only fair to have an economic depression, say for 10-20 years, so blue-collar folks learn their worth, and start to respect us, the doctors, entrepreneurs, and other people with knowledge and ideas. Those blue-collar folks that have ideas will be forced to start their own businesses. I say blue-collar masses now have too many iPhones and hybrid cars, and organic foods, and vacations, and, of course, whining. I say they've been flipping too many houses: they thought they will always be going up. It's a bubble, for heaven's sake! Let it burst.
But not all is lost. With this bailout price tag, in case if it goes through, at least there will be no money left for Obama to talk about socializing healthcare.

Your last blog entry makes sense now. You are clearly in it for the money.
Heaven forbid you pay more taxes on the quarter of a million dollars you make a year. I can't even believe you are complaining about having to work at night if you are making that much. I can't even believe your making that much. Goodness, no wonder healthcare is so expensive in this country.
Wow. I think what my husband said about doctors is true. The main focus isn't helping people. Its about making money, lots and lots of money. And to think I was defending your profession.
I'm sitting here shocked that you actually said blue collared workers need to start to respect docters and those with knowlege and ideas. Just because someone isn't a docter or an entrepreneur, doesn't mean they don't have knowlege or ideas. I don't agree docters are in the same category as an entrepreneur. I believe that someone who has original creativity earns my respect more than someone who did not find the cure they dish out. I do agree that sometimes hitting rock bottom lights a fire and motivates, though. I do not agree with Obama's plan, but actually I believe that wage taxes are uncostitutional as a whole. I'm not interested in redistribution of wealth. I believe that people should be in control of their own lives, for good or bad outcome. Although we are blue collared workers, I don't believe it's ethical to take money from someone like you to fund my vacation or pay my bills. No matter how much money you have, it's only as good as you handle it.
Perhaps learning how to spell "doctor" would be a start?
